Canadian iron ore manufacturing up 0.7 percent in January-Pumao steel

According to Data Canada, Canada produced 4,856,531 mt of iron ore focuses in January, up 0.7 percent from December yet down 6.3 percent from January 2021.

Canadian iron ore manufacturers delivered 2,272,761 mt of iron ore focuses in January, down 19.8 percent from December and down 24.9 percent from January 2021.

Closing supplies of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers completed 5,199,041 mt in January, compared to 4,459,571 mt in December as well as 4,577,202 mt in January 2021.
